Theft & Loss Protection

If your iPhone 17 Pro Max is stolen or lost, AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss can provide replacement coverage for eligible claims.

For a theft or loss claim:

1. Mark your iPhone as Lost using Find My.
2. Keep Find My enabled on the device.
3. Do not remove the device from your Apple Account or Find My during the claim process.
4. Submit the theft or loss claim through Apple.
5. Once the claim is approved, a replacement device may be provided subject to applicable terms, conditions, service fees and availability.

Theft & Loss Service Fee

For eligible theft or loss claims in India:

Theft/Loss Replacement Service Fee: ₹15,900

The applicable service fee must be paid for each approved theft or loss replacement claim.

Accidental Damage Protection

AppleCare+ provides protection for accidental damage to your iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Screen or Back Glass Damage

Service Fee: ₹2,500

Other Accidental Damage

Service Fee: ₹8,900

Service fees are applicable per eligible service incident and may be subject to applicable taxes and Apple’s terms.

Battery Service

AppleCare+ includes battery service when the iPhone battery retains less than 80% of its original capacity, subject to the applicable plan terms.

Find My Requirement

Find My is an important requirement for Theft and Loss protection.

For an eligible theft or loss claim:

• Find My must be enabled on the iPhone.
• The device must remain associated with your Apple Account during the claim process.
• Do not remove the stolen or lost iPhone from Find My until the claim has been completed and approved.

Failure to meet the applicable Find My requirements may affect eligibility for a theft or loss claim.
